Osteoporosis and cardiovascular support

Calcium works in conjunction with magnesium to maintain a healthy cardiovascular system and to produce energy in every cell of the body. Magnesium is involved in nerve and muscle function, and it promotes the absorption and metabolism of calcium.

This formula provides a balance of ionized calcium and magnesium in a highly soluble form that can be readily absorbed by the body.

Calcium and magnesium are both absorbed at different rates depending on the chelate they are bound to. Citrate is one of the better absorbed forms, however because it isn't absorbed completely a portion of it remains in the intestines, where it exerts an osmotic effect on the intestinal lumen causing a loosening of the stools. This effect has resulted in it being a frequently used gentle treatment for constipation. If you experience loose stools on this supplement, try reducing your dosage slightly.

Ingredients:

calcium (citrate) 80 mg

magnesium (citrate) 80 mg

vitamin C (as ascorbyl palmitate)10 mg

What Our Clients Are Saying

I feel incredibly lucky to have found Kieran. At my first appointment, I was impressed with his thorough intake of my health concerns, and as other reviewers have stated, his calm presence and demeanor make me feel relaxed as soon as he says "hello".  I often fall asleep while he is treating me.    I have already seen results with my symptoms, including a significant reduction in hot flashes and stomach bloating (which other acupuncturists had not been able to do). -Anna F.
